Dr. Indira VMD
Dr. Indira VMD is a scientist turned academician-cum-dancer. As a Bharatanatyam dancer, she has performed at various dance festivals and dignitary visits including that of Former American President, Barack Obama.
According to Indira, there is no child who cannot learn- they just need to be taught in different ways. In line with this philosophy, she teaches children with disorders and learning disabilities at her founding Nrutyadhyeya. She uses dance and other forms of arts like poetry, singing, dramatics, storytelling as a strategy to teach children mathematics, social studies, languages and even science. Apart from teaching children, she also trains teachers on imparting need based education
